The k144 is a multifunctional outdoor tool crafted from recycled climbing and bouldering ropes combined with durable paracord. Its structure comprises 144 hand-tied knots, the origin of its name, and creates a lightweight yet highly resistant net system that can adapt to different uses and forms. Designed for movement, durability and versatility, the k144 can be used as a bag, carrier or modular companion in everyday and outdoor environments. By repurposing materials designed for extreme conditions, the k144 combines sustainability, durability and a technical outdoor aesthetic in one adaptable design.

Developed as part of a Product Design project under the supervision of Prof. Dipl.-Des. Steffen Schulz.
Special thanks to my teammates Lilly, Selena, and Fine for their creativity, collaboration, and support throughout the project.
